The trailer ended with the SF6 logo, PlayStation 4 and 5 logos, and the ominous “2023 coming.” While this may have been done to suggest that the game would be exclusive to PlayStation consoles, this would not actually be the case.

While Street Fighter 4 ended up on everything from the Xbox 360 to the Nintendo 3DS, Street Fighter V was available exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PC. There’s still obviously a lot more to cover for Street Fighter 6 in the run-up to launch, but Capcom is headed in the right direction. Street Fighter 6 is out 2023 on PS5 - plus Xbox Series X and PC. Not every edition of Street Fighter made it to every console, but Sega, Nintendo, Sony, and Xbox have all welcomed the series in one way or another.
